The usual summer day in Bangalore began with Ginger turmeric tea, chanting, and usual planning for one. For another with Yogic practices and unusual ongoing debate in mind. One is busy with Client visits, and seeding business ops, and for another excitement of joining a new organization. Both of them have no idea of what stars were conspiring in the background.

As usual, at dusk, a sinking feeling arises for one. He has no idea what to do, where to go, and whom to call. Then a thought came to call a friend for tea. In summary, life was totally going directionless. It’s like one has lost the soul, but to keep the other affairs of life going on, one needs to hit the road with no destination.

So, the friend agreed to go for the tea. Another debate started, "where to go for tea today?"

After some discussion, we decided to go to Gabbar Chai. The name "Gabbar" reminds people of a famous Indian actor, in a negative role.

En route to this place, the friend asked, "Can I call another friend for tea".

And the response was, "Call whom so ever you like to invite, I am totally fine".

He called his lady friend whom he had befriended a few weeks back. She is totally organized and planned. For her to come for a tea, should have planned well in advance. However, she dropped by with a notice of just 30 minutes, that too when her evening was already planned with an hour free in between.

She asked my friend to pick her up on the way. We reached the location, where she was supposed to board our car. My friend smiled at her and she greeted him back. She then opened the car’s rear door and sat. I said hello to her, and she reverted to the same. With little chit-chat in the car for a few minutes, none of us introduced each other even with their names. My friend also missed introducing us. So finally, realizing this, we introduced ourselves.

Finally, all three of us reached the tea shop and ordered some usual stuff. We discussed travel, food, wine, and many other things. My friend and she were sitting on one side of the table, and her chair was tilted towards my friend. After around 30 minutes, my friend shared his observation that he has never seen me speak with anyone so vividly about life. I always used to speak about Spirituality, Yoga, meditation, and similar interests.

At last, the time came to conclude the evening as she had to leave for a birthday dinner. As her next destination was on the way to our home, we offered to drop. She agreed. Again, chit-chat started between both of us. By then, my friend felt that she is more of my friend than his. Once we reached the destination, we waved goodbye. I opened the car door to get out, which I usually do for all of my acquaintances.

"Why are you stepping out", "Are you going with her to the party", my friend said.

I said "No". I always step out of the car to say goodbye. By then situation looked awkward, so I closed the car door and stayed inside the car.

He then dropped me off at my place. The unexpectedly nice "Tea Affair" evening ended. There is a saying that "Each end is actually a start of something new".
